About the Iberian and Latin American Literatures collection
The Libraries' strong holdings in the literatures of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and Latin America provide Stanford researchers with a dynamic collection that is particularly rich in materials from the Mexican, Brazilian, and Chilean literary traditions. An additional vast collection of archival material from writers of the Mexican diaspora in the United States makes these combined holdings one of the foremost literary repositories in North America. It reflects the region's dominant print publishing output with a growing serial and digital-monographs presence.
The cognizant curator’s extensive in-person and online outreach to Stanford scholars is also available to a growing constituency of external users.
